Average hourly rate for a Plumber in Kansas City, MO?
I just had an outside faucet replaced and was charged $205.00. I truely feel like this was inappropriate, however Im uncertain. I asked for a ruff estimate to replace shower water lines while the wall was removed and they said $500.00. This would not include the fixtures. Give me some feedback here.
seems excessive to me, the faucett should have been changed in a two hour period, including driving time. the part was probably less than $60. Sounds like he gave himself a tip.

50 and hour plus a service call fee between 50 and 75 plus labor, they may have a min of 2 hours, it sounds right to me. Ask how you can do some of the work to get the cost down and get an itemized bill, so you can dispute charges you don't agree with. Become a member of Angie's List.
