Obama in a debate stated we can no longer have a policy where everyone is concerned what is in it for me. But if Joe voted for Obama because supposedly his tax plan would be better for him but worse for someone else isnt that what obama wanted to get away from.

to make the economy better but when the economy is bad it would hurt it. O! Is anyone seeing the irony. The truth is raising taxes hurts the economy and it is why you can do it when the economy is flourishing because the economy can take more punches then.

Bush has also created 20% more govn’t revenue by cutting the taxes on the so called rich than when Clinton raised where by the way is where Obama wants to raise it. Not to mention NO ECONOMIST regardless of political view recomends raising taxes of any sort in a poor economy, so Obama says its good to spread the wealth

The point Maher is really trying to make is that he doesn’t feel the real Joe the plumber is a good example of what the Republican base intends to represent, nor does he feel that Joe the plumber honestly represents his OWN case with an a politically unbiased view.
he also demonstrates he deosn’t fully grasp both candidates tax plans, which smacks of politics as usual, and undermines the value of his opinion. I’m tired of party-liners.
