Who thinks we should double the taxes on Joe the Plumber and all the other plumbers?
The plumbers I’ve called in have either charged an ungodly amount for almost no work, or left things worse than when they started. What about Joe the Pizza delivery driver, who brings me pizza when the weather is too bad for me to drive in, and who pays 4$ a gallon for gas and make 7$ an hour. Whose plan will help Joe the Pizza guy?
The 2 questions seem opposite. But! If Joe the plumber grows his business instead of taking out for personal profit the whole 250k he took from you he will not be taxed. If now the Pizza guy is obviously not taxed he will be better of considering the gas prices. In a way, this system is like the 401k. If you keep the money in the system and grow the business and hire people (have business expenses) you will not be penalized. If you maximize your profit to be able to take it out and live lavishly without any concerns about me the “Pizza guy”, then “spread the wealth”. Maybe that will teach you to grow your business in America instead of just consume. If more wealth is spread around, the Pizza guy could do more stops on the same route and thus come out making a buck himself.
Talk soon,
Joe Beaven

have no fear. conceivably obama will double or at least raise the taxes in this country to dracoinian levels. as such, your question is moot, it will happen anyway.

I don’t know who your plumber is but I do know how hard they work. Who do you call when your toilet backs up? A plumber has to deal with nasty smells and filthy pipes that no one else is willing to handle. I know because I am a retired kitchen & bath designer and have dealt with thousands of reputable plumbers. If you were overcharged then it’s because you didn’t do your homework in checking the reputation of the plumber. Plumbers have to charge what they do because of liability. If they provide a faucet or toilet & install it, then it leaks they have to come back and do all the repairs. This includes manufacturer defects which is not their fault at all. Think about it how much time and money does that take? Alot! I’d like to know what kind of work you do. I notice you didn’t mention that! How about putting your info on the line so we can critic it? I worked as a kitchen designer 10 to 12 hours/day 6 days a week and averaged $38,000. Now I am disabled from an auto accident and have to live on disability. I need help paying for my health insurance.
Whose plan will help Joe the pizza guy? My son is one of them and I can tell you McCain will help my son to get health insurance. Pizza companies don’t give health insurance. $5,000 for health insurance will help all low income people. My other son is a CPA tax expert and he said the tax on employee health insurance will be more than offset with the $5,000 credit McCain will give. A $10,000 health insurance benefit at 30% tax bracket is only $3,000, apply the $5,000 credit and you are AHEAD $2,000.!!!!
Read Obama’s voting record for taxes from 2006 to 2008. You will see he NEVER cut taxes, he always increased them. If you think you are getting a refund check from Obama you are sadly mistaken. See the link below and click on 2006 then scroll thru the bills to find info on taxes:

You wasn’t listening, Obama wants to tax the plumbers assoff and give the pizza guy a few pennies of the plumbers money. Should that happen the plumber will just raise his price to make up for the tax he paid. Next time you call the plumber you will pay for both the job and the tax, plus the raise the pizza guy got.
